CEO/Founder

David Dubbs is a serial entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley. For the past 20 years, David has been focused primarily on web and mobile health venture development for consumer-facing companies.  David has been a C-Level consultant to AOL and Prodigy, Netscape, and eBay; and co-founded a web portal called LookSmart. (Nasdaq: LOOK).

More recently, David was VP Innovation for Medco ($66B, Fortune #34) driving mobile , social and Big Data applications.  This followed David’s role as CEO of mScrip, focused on delivering a low-cost smartpen solution for ePrescribing, enabling doctors to automatically convert written prescriptions into secure, digital data.

David has been a guest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business; Auburn University PEMBA program and the MIT-Stanford Venture Lab; was featured in a cover story in Business Week on product design.

David is a principal at Calvert Health Partners, a healthcare provider services holding company, where he performs consulting and advisory work with leading national consulting practices, operational health services companies and investment firms on the development of new provider and payer models of service delivery. He also guides services and clinical care companies in business development and fundraising strategies. David possesses significant CEO, COO, and business development experience in both payer and provider operating environments. Prior to his work at Calvert Health, David served as COO of xG Health Solutions, a for-profit spinout of Geisinger Health System. David holds bachelors and master’s degrees in Hospital and Health Services Administration from Quinnipiac University and the University of Iowa respectively. He is based in Baltimore, Maryland.

Steve has more than 30 years of experience in high tech, focusing primarily on bringing innovative technologies to market. He is currently CEO and Co-founder of Smaarts, Inc., a software company that provides real-time enterprise security using a patented Big Data approach. Prior to co-founding Smaarts – his sixth start-up venture – he served as Vice President, Applications and Mobile Product Management at Yahoo!, where he was responsible for a $1B product portfolio including Mail, Messenger, Flickr, Answers, Groups, Conn ected TV and all mobile products. Prior, Steve held various executive roles with LivePerson, Moxie Software, Octopus Software (acquired by Jeeves Business Solutions), Microsoft, Hotmail (acquired by Microsoft), BSG (acquired by Per-Se Systems), Paradyne (acquired by AT&T) and IBM.

Steve earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
